Victor® Electronic Rat Trap
Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor Electronic Rat Trap uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the rats in your house or on your property. Since rats have the ability to restart their hearts after an electrical shock, the Victor Electronic Rat Trap applies shock for 2 minutes ensuring a high kill rate. The Victor Electronic Rat Trap is as efficient as it is effective, killing up to 50 rats per set of 4 “C” batteries (not included). |
How It Works: | ||
The Victor Electronic Rat Trap is equipped with advanced smart circuit technology that senses when a rodent enters the trap. Once the rodent is inside, the rat steps onto the metal plates, completing the circuit and the trap delivers a quick, humane 7,000 volt shock to kill the rat. Since rats have the ability to restart their hearts, the shock is applied for 2 minutes ensuring a high kill rate. Each time the trap catches a rat, the light on top of the trap flashes green for up to 24 hours to indicate a kill. If the batteries are low or need to be replaced, a red light will blink. To dispose of the rat, just dump the rodent directly into the trash for a hygienic and safe, no-touch, no-see disposal. The trap can either be reset or discarded. To reset, re-bait, place and turn on the trap for continued rodent control. Should an unlikely escape occur, the trap will reset itself. The trap can kill up to 50 rats per set of four “C” batteries.
Simple Setup: | ||
The Victor Electronic Rat Trap is easy to use. Simply insert the batteries, bait, place the trap along the wall, turn the trap on and empty. First, insert 4 “C” batteries into the battery compartment. Bait the trap through the hole in the back wall using a small amount of peanut butter, bacon, dry pet food or nuts. Be sure to use a Q-tip, toothpick or another tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. Turn the Victor Electronic Rat Trap on. A green light will blink once showing the trap is working properly.
Safety First: | ||
The Victor Electronic Rat trap is safe for use anywhere in the home and can be used for years to ensure effective rat control. It is ideal for attics, garages, basements and sheds. The trap has no poisons or chemicals, but please use caution when using around children and pets. |
